With 10 years experience in business development, Gemma comes to the team to help develop and deliver the commercial prospects of the project. She has a background in building solid businesses, maintaining them, and is fiscally astute. Gemma will use her event management and corporate event experience, as well as her business development skills, to ensure that the site is financially sustainable and ultimately able to subsidise the work of the Ruach Trust in its training and mentoring of young people.
Tom works as a Civil Servant having graduated from the University of Cambridge with a degree in economics. He has extensive experience in project management having enjoyed roles in the Ministry of Defence, the Home Office and the Foreign Office. The Hartley’s run a building-restoration company, Hartley and Son – Building Excellence, which has over 40 years experience restoring listed buildings across England and Wales, and a heritage workshop supplying fine joinery to private clients, Churches and Cathedrals across the world. The company has maintained a focus on apprenticeships and heritage skills development with The Prince’s Foundation and Jobcentre Plus.
