Jane is the founder of the Ruach Trust and has pioneered its vision to make a difference in the lives young men. She comes with six years experience of the charity sector in operations management, leading large teams for projects in the UK and overseas. Prior to this, her background is in engineering with a particular focus on historic buildings. Jane has many years of experience of youthwork and was ordained as a Pioneer Minister in the Derby Diocese in July 2015. She is motivated in what she does by her Christian faith and is passionate about seeing young people of all faiths and none reach their full potential.
Dave works as an engineer in the offshore Oil & Gas industry and brings a breadth of project management skills to the team, including leadership and risk management. Having recently returned to the UK after an assignment abroad, Dave lives in West Sussex with his wife & two children and is committed to seeing lives of young men changed through the development of life skills and values.
Elizabeth studied History of Art at the University of Leicester and upon completion of a masters spent fifteen years working in Local Authorities’ Heritage sector. Currently she is Assistant Curate at St Denys Church, Evington, a large parish church in Leicester. She has further experience managing a large team of curators, conservators, and designers for Leicester City Council Arts and Museums Service. Elizabeth has also worked with a large number of voluntary organisations. At present she works with Leicester Transport Heritage Trust, preserving an Edwardian Tram Depot to create a museum allowing access to this site for future generations.
Chris is a Chartered Accountant living in Derby. Chris began his career with a big four accountancy firm and now has overall financial responsibility for six Academies across the Midlands as well as overseeing the non-teaching operations of the Landau Forte Charitable Trust. He has spent the last 13 years as a part of the leadership of a church youth work team and is keen to see the lives of young people transformed.
After studying Physics at University College London, Calum spent time researching jet engine materials at the University of Cambridge before embarking on a career in the city. He currently works for Goldman Sachs, in the Strategy and Management department within the Sale and Trading division. Calum also has significant charitable experience and comes to the team as a talented strategist, a highly networked individual, and a voice for the marginalised in the city.
Rachel is the chair of trustees and comes to the project with eighteen years of operational management experience in the RAF. Currently completing the Advanced Command and Staff course. She has a reputation as an excellent strategist, and is used to working in a high pressured environment and delivering solutions to complex situations in a warzone. She is also passionate about equipping young people and brings experience of leadership at the highest levels.
Dylan is a graphic designer and marketing expert, working with several significant brands in the UK. He is passionate about seeing young people from every walk of life invested in, and their skills developed. Dylan seeks to hold the Ruach trusts’ values of inclusion and accessibility to account, and joins the trustees as someone who doesn’t share the CEO’s Christian faith.
